What Do You Crave?

1. Roast beef and mashed potatoes. Really, any meat will do, but roast beef really gets me fired up. With mashed potatoes. The real ones, not the box kind. Mmmmmmm.

2. Scrambled eggs with salt, pepper and cheddar cheese.

3. I'm popping these suckers like candy.

I would be a happy prego with just these foods in my life right now.

Moms and moms-to-be: What did you long for in the wee hours of the night??

I longed for salsa all the time with Aleeyah.

Salsa on a chip, salsa on my tacos, salsa in a tortilla, or salsa in a straw would have done the job too!!!

Well, I've never been pregnant, so I haven't personally had any cravings! But, at least your cravings are pretty healthy and not too crazy!!! Are you feeling good with your pregnancy?

Oh let me count the things....
"The Early Months"
1. Russel Stovers chocolate caramels.
2. That Chocolate Coconut Heath Bar Cake.
3. WHOLE milk chocolate milk!
Sound like a theme?!
Then... "The Middle Months"
4. Ghardettos bagel chips and sweet tea (decaf, of course)
"The End is Near"
5. Frozen Grapes

I don't think I really had cravings.

Oh, let me get back with you in a few weeks. I'm not craving anything right now. Once the nausea passes I'm sure that will change though. Food's a bad subject these days! GAG!

Each time was so different! With Gavin it was Chili's chips and salsa or cheese enchiladas! With Paxton it was chocolate, strawberries, whole milk and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with potato chips!
I enjoyed eating everything the second time around!... and a lot of it! I hope you enjoy it, too!!

I pretty much had the same food "cravings" with both pregnancies. Grilled cheese sandwiches, french fries, and milk--especially chocolate milk. And actually those cravings pretty much stuck with me. I still prefer those things. When I don't want to make much for lunch or dinner, it's grilled cheese with french fries.

Let me just say... my best friend and I are both pregnant... yesterday at 3:45 we stopped for a "snack" - this snack included going into Luby's and getting mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese, wheat rolls and fried okra... I could eat mac-n-cheese and mashed potatoes at every meal! Load on those carbs, baby!!!!! Hopefully I'm not 500 lbs in a few weeks when I see you! :)

The way we knew we were pregnant with Conrey (#2) was the fact that I wanted to eat nothing besides M&M's...milk or dark and pizza. We were in Chicago, luckily. Pizza was everywhere we looked. Seriously, those are the ONLY things I ate the whole trip. I'm not usually a huge chocolate person, so that was definitely a clue that SOMETHING was up! :)

With Cassie (#1), it was ice cream. I didn't care what kind. I didn't care what time it was. I wanted ice cream and LOTS of it. In fact, I am STILL teased about a certain time when Mark and our friends Ben and Tracy wouldn't take me to get ice cream and I cried the whole way home. *sniff* :)

This is Michelle's sister Maria and I've been reading your blog for a little while now. My cravings have changed a little during the past 13 wks, but the craving that I've had the most has been for Buffalo Wings! Mmm... I seriously ask for them every day for dinner. But, just in the past couple of weeks, I've been hungry for roast and potatoes as well! Do you have McCalisters? They have an awesome pot roast spud!
