Beautiful Music

In the week-and-a-half since we've had his hearing aids, Will has suddenly become quite verbal. His coos and goos are the most exquisite melody this Mommy's ears have known.

How exciting! What a great reward the Lord gives us in our children. Let's all remember that when they are driving us nuts (or trying to steal our brownies). :)

That is so exciting. He seems more animated now that he can hear.

What a doll! He's just too precious for words! I am so glad that the hearing aids are doing what they are supposed to do!

Your comment brought tears to my eyes. There is something so magical about watching your baby’s face the first time he tastes ice cream, or touches a wiggly fuzzy puppy, or watches bubbles float through the air and land on his nose. I hope I’m there when he hears a big belly laugh from his Grandpa. Now that will be something!

That is so great! I came across your blog as I was writing about hearing impairments on my blog. I am a Christian... and I am a special education teacher who now educates undergraduate teachers on ways to include children of all abilities in their inclusive classrooms. I am particularly passionate about helping them develop empathy and understanding (or, from a godly perspective, love)... especially when it comes to addressing any behavioural or social difficulties the children may have. Would love it if you would like to add to the information on my blog from a parent's perspective.
