Lessons from Laundry Day

What did the kids learn? It's good to listen to Mommy's instructions. There's value in helping each other. It can be so much fun to do chores!

What did Mommy learn? Next time I'll be laying on the couch with a book for ten uninterrupted minutes of me-time instead of holding the camera. What was I thinking?!

Kelli, that is precious! I love the way you do your videos! So cool! Will reminds me so much of Blake! In fact that whole scene and how Sophie was helping little brother is all too familiar of my house! So sweet! Thanks for sharing! It warmed my heart! :o)

That is one of the most precious videos I have seen in a long time. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Very cute. What at good big sister, helping her brother. She's going to be such a big help when #3 comes. That gives me some hope too because she's the same age now that Isaac will be with our #3. If this next one is half as demanding as Isaac was as an infant I'm going to need all the help from #1 And #2 that I can get!

I love it!! And it is so much fun to see Will walk, so cute!! Judson just likes to take them out of the washing machine once I put them in, we should work on him putting them in!!

The next step is teaching them to sort by colors. Yeah!

I love that you said you learned to take a break next time! I can't tell you how many "breaks" I've passed up to tromp around the girls taking pictures, when they are totally preoccupied with what they're doing and have absolutely no need of my services!
