Psychosis

Ben and I agreed to listen to our voting public, so today I purchased a brown rug for the nursery. I think it looks great, but you can decide for yourself. Now I need to get some curtains. Don't worry; I won't make you vote on that.

Below is a video of Sophie. I'm more than a little embarrased to post this, but seeing as my brother requested more video I decided to swallow my pride and put it on here. Plus, it is pretty funny if you get past the demented aspect of it. I described this scene a few posts ago, but you can't truly grasp it until you see the video. We just might need to find a toddler therapist.

Please don't fret. Since this filming two days ago, I have adamantly expressed to Ben the importance of discontinuing this game.

I laughed so hard! I hope she finds a new game before the baby shows up!

The room looks so cute! Our nursery is actually that same color of green. I too can't wait to find out what the accent colors will be!!! The video is hilarious as well, I'm still laughing. I heard a big crash the other day to find Em's baby and stroller at the bottom of our stairs, but I think it was because she wanted to play with it downstairs... and well, it's an upstairs, bedroom/hallway only toy - I'm anal.

Thanks for fulfilling my request. =P The rug looks awesome, and the video is hilarious! I could watch her do that all day long, haha.

Maybe I'm crazy too, but I don't think you have to worry too much about Sophie. I think she's just crossing back and forth between her destructive toddler side and her sweet little girl side. And I don't mean that in a Jeckle and Hyde sort of way. I'm sure she'll be different with teeny tiny.
All kids are different. Carly was curious as a toddler, but didn't push the limits. Isaac definitely pushes on the limits but not too much, but he is so incredibly destructive. He hasn't broken all that much stuff, but that's not because he wasn't trying. If we had stairs he would be throwing just about anything he could down it. But I couldn't imagine him trying to throw down his sister--granted she is bigger, but not by much.

Justin and Jemma thought the baby doll going down the stairs was pretty funny.

That is too funny! I can see Ben encouraging that game. Ha ha! I'm sure she won't try it with the real baby!

I love the rug. If it is any consolation, Addison used to put blankets completely covering the babies before and after Clark came. She will be a great big sister.
